The canvas (hump) fabric used in Yokohama canvas bag products is the original standard waterproof canvas (vinylon/polyester blend) used in the shipping equipment of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force vessels, manufactured by Morino Canvas Ship Equipment Co., Ltd. in Kamome Town, Yokohama. This is a canvas (hump) made of high quality cotton, polyester, and nylon made in Japan. In addition, we carefully select materials and parts made in Japan, as well as natural tanned leather, and manufacture our bags in our own factory.

The reason why we are particular about military parts is that they have specifications that can withstand even harsh battlefields and environments, and are designed to be easy to use depending on the situation in which they are used.
